Hi, I’m Fumi, a PhD student in Computational and Systems Immunology at Stanford Medicine . I am interested in studying infectious diseases, particularly those that disproportionately affect underserved populations, with the goal of improving global health outcomes.

Originally from Japan, I earned my B.S. in Computational Biology from Harvey Mudd College and developed hybrid experimental and computational skills at Scripps Research, Johns Hopkins University, and the National University of Singapore.
