Hi, I’m Fumi, a PhD student in Immunology at Stanford Medicine. I am passionate about applying molecular genomics to advance global health, particularly in understanding immune responses to infectious diseases that disproportionately impact underserved populations.
My work focuses on host–pathogen interactions and immune evasion in parasitic infections, integrating experimental immunology with computational analysis to uncover mechanistic insights with translational relevance.
Originally from Japan, I earned my B.S. in Computational Biology from Harvey Mudd College and have conducted research at Scripps Research, Johns Hopkins University, and the National University of Singapore.
I welcome collaboration and interdisciplinary engagement -- feel free to reach out:)
