Fuminori Tanizawa

Hi, I’m Fumi, a PhD student in Immunology at Stanford Medicine, advised by Dr. Prasanna Jagannathan. I study the role of natural killer cells in the immunity to malaria that children acquire through repeated infection. I’m drawn to infectious diseases that fall hardest on underserved communities. Before Stanford, I trained in wet labs at Scripps Research, Johns Hopkins and the National University of Singapore.
